This Canadian/Israeli thrived on Thai food in my home city of Toronto. After living here for 21 years and experiencing all the Thai restaurants where I could find one, Thai 148 beats... them all hands down. From the Hostesses greeting us, to the service, to the stunning. yet simple layout and furnishings, we felt at home! The food shone on the plate and the taste put smiles on our faces. This is some of the best Thai food you’ll have anywhere. We enjoyed some delicious appetizers, including a fried white fish with pomelo, spring rolls, chili shrimps, and papaya salad.... Wines by the glass paired nicely with the food, and they have a great selection of wines by the bottle and cocktails. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere had a great vibe, being Tel Aviv and all. Cool place, taking Thai food to the next level. Definitely recommend!
